I sent an email to a potential employer this Fall and I misspelled his name. x__x Ffffffufuuusdflaskfjlskafjlsdf.
Skimming through a draft is not sufficient enough proofreading.

My challenge to you.
Hey guys, I just found out today that my ACT tutor committed suicide 2 days ago. Her name was Heather and she helped me to achieve a high enough score on the ACT to get a scholarship to Arkansas next year. I planned on writing her a letter thanking her for everything she did for me over the past year, but I kept putting it off because I was “too busy.” Never put off telling someone how much they make a difference in your life. You never know how much of an impact something as small as a letter can make in someone’s life. Please learn from my mistake and tell someone how much they mean to you this week. Thanks.
